What are RED’s mandates?
- Promote the importance of dance education and its contribution to health and healthy lifestyle habits to schools, teachers, the general public and government bodies;
- Represent the interests of its members to government authorities, the cultural sector and the general public;
- Promote the dance education sector and its members, as well as their importance in the dance ecosystem;
- Bring members together and facilitate discussions, exchanges and networking;
- Contribute to the sector’s development, consolidation and cohesion, with an aim to improving practices and promoting the profession;
- Foster the development of qualified young dance teachers and encourage the pursuit of higher education in the field;
- Respond to the diverse professional development needs of its members through continuing education, coaching, accompaniment, mentoring, etc. and generate collaboration between its members and partners;
- Develop complementary collective services for its members;
- Ensure a strategic watch for the dance education sector and act as an information liaison.
